                          RECORDS RECORDS RECORDS

As you may or may not have known already, three of our artists have been busy slaving away on their new records of late. So we are happy to announce that Flats have finished recording their forthcoming debut, as have Breton, with Roman having nipped over to New York for final mastering. Not long left till we unleash them then!

Big news to follow soon about Speech's follow-up (I refuse to use the word "Sophomore") to the Mercury Award winning Speech Therapy.

Oh, and for those of you who like to plan ahead, early-bird tickets are on sale for Breton's January show at the Koko with Plaid and Hexstatic. There's also an Xfm Sponsored date with Scroobius Pip on the 21st November at the Barfly.

   snap em up now...

BRETON - in the studio

Anyone who has wandered over to the Breton Facebook page recently (if not you should do, free download & more) will be well aware that the boys are currently holed up in a remote part of Iceland at Sigur Ros' Sundlaugin studio recording their FatCat debut.

Early reports intercepted indicate that all is going well...

Mode of transport - Iron Maiden's plane, flown by Bruce Dickinson himself, so expect some falsetto and finger-tapping influences to seep in.

Breton/Tom Vek tour starts next week!
+ free download

Fresh from turning his comeback single A Chore into a "whomping rave track" (NME.com), Breton will be hitting the road as the sole support for Tom Vek's upcoming UK tour. All dates bar Birmingham are sold out.

Mon    13th  Manchester, The Ruby Lounge
Tues   14th  Glasgow, The Classic Grand
Weds  15th  Birmingham, HMV Institute

Thurs  16th  London, Heaven
Sat     18th  Brighton, Concorde 2

Straight after these dates Breton will leave for Mosfellsbaer, Iceland, where they will be recording their self-produced debut album in Sigur Ros' Sundlaugin Studio. The as-yet untitled album is set to be released on FatCat Records in early 2012.

To give a taste of things to come, BRETON have made available a free download via their Facebook page; a demo version of a track set to appear on the forthcoming album.
